Yes it’s that time of year again: Xerocon time!
Following in the footsteps of a very successful Xerocon 2018 (see this vid below for evidence), this year’s event was bigger and better than ever!
Taking place this year on the 13th and 14th November, Xerocon London is a global conference for cloud accounting enthusiasts – and world-renowned exhibition and convention centre ExCeL is the venue of choice for the annual event.
Located in the heart of the London Docklands, the venue boasts 100,000 square metres of space – so more than enough room to fit in the vast array of exhibition stands (downstairs) and fun attractions for the evening (upstairs) required for any Xerocon!
Not to mention enough room for the 3,000 plus accountants, bookkeepers and app partners in attendance!
The Box That Rox team set off early on Wednesday morning, making their way to the Docklands to set up for the evening ahead.
As they arrived on site and got to work upstairs, the conference was already in full swing!
In addition to the legion of stands dotted across the hall, the main stage was fully utilised throughout the day – featuring a programme of inspiring talks on everything from the mysteriously named Xero Tax to the sparkly new performance tool Business Snapshots. There was even time for a rap or two!
After a busy day of conferencing, the 3000+ attendees were (unsurprisingly) ready to let their hair down and party!
Kicking off at 7pm sharp, the Xerocon afterparty featured a dizzying array of attractions, including: a helter-skelter, dodgems, two stages (a small acoustic stage, and a main stage featuring a headline act swiftly followed by a DJ set), an iconic London beer bus – and The Box That Rox in all its glory!
Once they were suitably satiated from all the tasty bites on offer (and reliably refreshed thanks to all the boutique bars around), the attendees headed over to the Box for some non-stop karaoke fun!
It was certainly a top night, and we really enjoyed helping everyone make the most of their Xerocon afterparty!
We’d also like to give a special shout out to the brilliant event organisers Taylor Bennett Partners, who were a joy to work with!
